Long time no see! I am SO happy and proud to introduce you to my new improved travel site AND my brand-new baby: Arctic Travel! Come in, come in!

Hi Reader

I hope you are doing well! Wow, this took longer than expected!

The last email I sent you was back in February, but I really think it is going to be worth the wait.

We have just started June 2024 (!!), summer is all over us, and I have so much to share with you!

Since February, I have rebranded my travel site (which you may notice), and it is now called >> Epic Nomad Life (link), a travel hub especially tailored to Solo Female Travelers (as I am, you know, a solo female traveler roaming the planet doing all the fun stuff).

In addition, I have launched my second website which is all about Norway travel (as I am a Norwegian-born shieldmaiden and have traveled all over Norway all my life), called >> Travel To Norway (link)!

I have also relocated to Arctic Norway for the summer season, swapping flip-flops for hiking boots!

So what does this mean, and what else is new?

Well, A Lot!

I am still creating super helpful authentic travel content based on my own journeys, experiences, and adventures.

In Epic Nomad Life you can still expect to find personally crafted travel guides, and thorough advice on what to do, where to stay, how to get there, safety advice, travel hacks, "a locals tip" (I always stay in a place for at least a month, as the dedicated slow traveler that I am) and a lot more.

And in Travel To Norway, you will find everything you need to know about Norway travel little by little as I am able to create more articles about all my experiences across our long, rugged Arctic country.

I invite you to check it out, and hope will love spectacular content from my Scandinavian home country and the Arctic region. Why dont you take a sneak peek below?

(Yeah, I have become a drone pilot, too!🀩)

If there is any destination in Norway in particular you would like a travel guide for, please let me know by replying to this email!

I dont want to overwhelm you with too much stuff in this relaunch email, but I do want to share my latest blog posts from both "new" sites.

I hope the titles will speak to you and that you will check them out!

Over the summer, I have exciting plans coming up, of course, to your benefit. But I will get back to that later :)

PS: My social media has changed, too, but my goal is still to inspire you every day (or almost every day) to discover new epic adventure destinations!

Hey Reader, I am back to normal with a few weekly travel glimmers for you to ponder as we are heading for the weekend super-fast! Today I want to talk about the magic of CONTRAST in travel! If you’re like most adventurous travelers, I am guessing you have at same point craved feeling the pulse of a vibrant city and the serenity of untouched nature preferably on the same journey? I know I have! In today’s travel scene, especially traveling women are embracing the beauty of contrasts more than...

What kind of traveler are you? Are you the one who likes to wing it throughout (because that is "real traveling"), or are you the meticulous planner who gets a dangerously high pulse when something (minor) ruins your perfect itinerary? Truth be told, I am kind of the "wing-it"-type myself. But over the years I have learned (sometimes the hard way) that planning can significantly improve my travel experience in all aspects. Things like research transport options is a great example. I did not...

Sometimes life-lessons comes from the most unexpected of places. When I was about to start the last few miles of my (amazing) trek in the Colombian Amazon jungle, we stopped at a Wiva village (the Indigenous people of this region) to be blessed by a shaman. This was a trek I did on my first long solo trip, a six-month journey alone in South America. During this 4 day trek in the Amazon, I had noticed that the indeginous Wiwa tribe had a very close relationship with nature, and connected this...
